It was an action packed weekend, we started on Friday with 4 practices, all of them went good considering we made changes after every session testing different set up options.

On Saturday we had qualifying and 1 race , qualifying was in the morning and it was already scorching hot! Unfortunately we put the tyre pressures too high and mucked around a bit too much but nonetheless I got 11th which is not bad for my second ever qualifying.

In race 1 I didn’t get the best of starts dropping back a couple positions but throughout the race I managed to get them back up and finish 10th one place better than where I started.

On Sunday I only got one race in due to someone having a serious medical event during their race in the afternoon and my thoughts go out to him and his family!

In race 2 I got a solid start from 9th getting up to 8th on the first lap, I had some good clean battles with the cars around me but unfortunately dropped 2 places on the last lap being stuck on the outside which made me finish 10th.

Overall was another good learning weekend and the car is still in one piece without a single mark on it!

So eyes forward to Mad Mike Whiddett summer bash on the 6th where I get to take some of my mates and family for cruise laps around Hampton downs and then round 1 of the bmw endurance championship the next day!
