The weekend started on Friday with 4 practices! It was a solid day finishing all practices and switching to a short shifter halfway through was a new challenge but I got used to it pretty quick and enjoyed it – thanks SkunkWorks

On Saturday morning we had 1 20 min practice in the wet, we didn’t put enough fuel in and it was coughing on the exit on the same corner every lap so was unable to put a decent lap in, next was qualifying in the wet there was no issues and kept it on track the whole time coming 9th out of 22

On Saturday afternoon it was dry and was race 1 I was racing hard with lots of cars the whole time finishing 11th

On Sunday it was dry again there was another 2 races, the first race in the morning there was a huge pack of cars the whole race and was pretty hard to move forward so I finished where I started which was 11th.

In the final race I started 9th and managed to get a good start and get in front of all the carnage, had plenty of fun racing and I brought it home in 7th!

 

Overall I continue learning everytime I’m in the car and making progress so that’s positive!

I’m currently sitting 8th in the BMW Race Driver Series e46 championship which I’m proud of as top 10 for my rookie year is the goal

Next up is the 24th of February at Hampton Downs, it’s a day meeting so a qualifying and 3 heats all in one day – it’s a good one to come watch
