Hey everyone just finished the New Zealand karting nationals sprint championship for 2024 in Blenheim. I am stoked to have come away with the win! Making me 1NZ in DVS junior which is a super cool achievement for me that I have been working towards for a long time. It was a great experience and I learnt a lot. I was really fortunate to have Christopher van der Drift and Darren working alongside dad and I over the weekend. It’s take a lot of effort to get me here and I am so thankful to my mum and dad for everything they put into my karting and all the people and businesses who have contributed in someway.
I want to acknowledge my mates who I’ve been karting with for years and are some of the best in NZ, they did a great job, some of its hard luck others getting good results too.
As well as winning 1NZ and the privilege to race that number for a year! I won a ticket to Italy as part of the ROK Cup New Zealand series, which means I get an entry to the ROK Cup Super Worlds Final in South Garda, Italy and to represent NZ. It’s mega, I can’t wait and I’m still taking it all in!
